Wedding Watercolor Invitation Inspiration

First off, try saying wedding watercolor invitation inspiration five times. Done? Let’s get to this!

Florals have been a mainstay in the wedding world for a time, and for great reason. They are versatile. They can be trendy. They can be timeless. There is a version of “floral” that could fit almost every bride if she chose to go this route. Not sure? Let’s get started exploring.

  1. The “Almost Floral”

This wedding is a great example that “floral” is almost as much a feel as it is actual flowers.

2. The “Wildflower Floral”

This particular category of florals can be used to either dress up or dress down an invitation suite. It’s best suited for summer and spring weddings. This particular design maintains dignity, while adding a touch of whimsy.

3. The “Minimalist Floral”

The minimalist floral is pretty self-explanatory. Though somewhat counter-intuitive, minimalist floral can take the most skill to pull off with class. It’s so clean and minimal, which means there is less forgiveness in your design. The actual floral graphic that you base your design on is super important in this category. (We’ve got a few connections in this field if you need a designer:)

4. The “Boutique Floral”

This floral has a bit of an Old-World or European feel. It works well in a variety of colors and can be adapted for the different seasons. The sage green displayed here could work in several different seasons, but you could easily make if feel more “fall” or “spring”.

5. The “Watercolor Floral”

Watercolor is probably too broad of a category. You can go minimal, trendy, timeless…etc with watercolor florals. It’s great to have a secondary category for all the “normal” floral options out there.
